17/12/2003 Eight 6ft x 5ft concrete cubes either side of a new footbridge. There are two lines of five surviving cubes approaching the river bank at right angles to the E of the bridge, and three cubes in a single line to the W. Two of the cubes of the W line have been shuttered with corrugated iron.

The exact purpose of these cubes at this point is not clear. 04/12/1999 Anti-tank cubes. 17/01/2003 9 x 5ft concrete anti-tank cubes. 1957 OS 1: 2500 indicates anti-tank cubes by the word Stone - in three positions.
