16/02/1999 A roadblock was created at the bottom of Cobhams Hill in 1940. Concrete cubes are remembered by a local resident, together with a sentry position manned by the Military Police as a check point. Nothing now remains. The site was in a 1940 defence plan for Kidderminster.
