12/11/1999 Pillbox built at Green Pond in the corner of a field. No trace remains today, although the dried-up Green Pond itself is still visible. No. 10 Platoon of the 8th Btn Home Guard was responsible for manning the pillbox. (Information supplied to the recorder by Mr. Mike Eustace, ex-Home Guard member).
