12/11/1999 Pillbox built on the highest point to the W of Lowland Point about 2 miles NE of Coverack village. It was manned by No. 6 Platoon 8th Btn. Home Guard (Duke of Cornwalls Light Infantry). Nothing is known to exist at this site today, which is now a National Trust area. (Information supplied to the recorder by Mr. Mike Eustace, ex-Home Guard member).
