A historic German bunker located near Narvik, Norway, part of the extensive WWII fortifications built by the occupying forces. Movik Fort, also known as Batterie Dietl, once housed the world's second-largest cannon—a massive Krupp 380mm gun with a range of up to 55 kilometers. The site sits in a commanding position overlooking the Skagerrak Straits, strategically important for controlling access between Norway and Denmark.
After the war, some of these bunkers were repurposed for civilian use, with modifications such as walled-up exits and mounted front doors visible today.
