Movik Fort is a historic German coastal fortification located near the Skagerrak Straits in Norway. Constructed during World War II, this strategic military site once housed the second largest cannon in the world - a massive Krupp 380mm artillery piece weighing 337 tonnes with an impressive range of up to 55 kilometers (35 miles). The fort sits in a commanding position overlooking the strategic waterway between Norway and Denmark, serving as a key defensive installation during the German occupation of Norway.
