1997 A roadblock was established at the S end of the bridge by D Company (Tenbury) of the 11th Worcestershire (Stourport) Battalion HG, as part of the River Teme (Western Command No. 28) stop line. A similar block was established at the N end of the bridge by the Shropshire HG. Probably of vertical rail and anti-tank cylinder construction.
