Movik Fort is a historic German coastal fortification located near the Skagerrak Straits between Norway and Denmark. Originally constructed during World War II by the German occupying forces, the fort once housed the second largest cannon in the world - a Krupp 380mm artillery piece with a range of up to 55 kilometers. The massive cannon weighed 337 tonnes and was positioned to control the strategic waterway between Norway and Denmark.
