03/11/1998 This was originally an anti tank road block made with concrete cylindrical road blocks measuring 2ft in height and 2ft in diameter. The road block was sited at a road bridge. The road at this spot has since been widened and the small bridge by-passed. However, 45 of the concrete road blocks can still be seen by the road bridge as they have been incorporated into the banks of the stream just W of the bridge.
Two more concrete cylindrical road blocks can be seen a few yards W of the bridge on the grass verge where they were built as part of a farmers milk churn delivery base.
