01/07/1999 Anti-tank wall constructed from small concrete blocks with a central core of concrete. It is 6ft in height and 34in wide. The wall extends from a small river running parallel with the road, across a small field and has been cut off where it adjoins the road. Originally, it would have extended across the road with a gap (probably chicane type for traffic).
Approximately 16yds of the wall remain. It is part of a private garden, but is in very good condition. This wall was located to stop any invasion traffic from proceeding inland from Portreath beach.
