26/03/1999 Centre of resistance established at village. Precise nature of defences now unclear and no trace now discovered. Village is on a minor road but close to NORCON factory and on high ground overlooking Wolverhampton (the company produced concrete pipes and the NORCON pillbox but not clear if at this site).
