A Cold War-era Royal Observer Corps underground monitoring post located in the United Kingdom. These secret bunkers were part of a network established to monitor nuclear fallout and provide early warning of potential nuclear attacks during the Cold War period. The United Kingdom's Royal Observer Corps operated these underground facilities as part of the nation's civil defense infrastructure until the stand-down in September 1991 following the end of the Cold War.

These monitoring posts were typically small, reinforced underground structures equipped with specialized instrumentation to detect and measure nuclear detonations, radioactive fallout, and seismic activity. Personnel stationed at these bunkers would have been responsible for collecting and transmitting critical data to central command centers in the event of a nuclear incident.

The bunker represents an important part of Britain's Cold War history and civil defense preparations during a period of heightened international tension. Many of these structures have since been decommissioned and some have been preserved or restored for historical interest.
