Movik Fort is a historic German coastal fortification located near the Skagerrak Straits in northern Norway. Built during World War II by the German Wehrmacht, the fort once housed the second largest cannon in the world - a massive Krupp 380mm gun with a range of up to 55 kilometers and weighing 337 tonnes. The fortification sits in a commanding position overlooking the strategic waterway between Norway and Denmark, forming part of the extensive German defensive network along Norway's coast during the occupation period.
