15/02/2000 Pillbox, no specification. Five or six sided concrete pillbox covering the approach to Upton bridge from the E . The pillbox was demolished in 1947 and stood approx. where the entrance to the Upton Marina now is. A blurred image of the half demolished pillbox can be seen on a film of the 1947 floods in this area.
