The Raven Rock Mountain Complex, also known as Site R, is a U.S. military installation with an underground nuclear bunker located near Blue Ridge Summit, Pennsylvania. Often referred to as an "underground Pentagon," this Cold War-era facility serves as an emergency operations center for the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps. The complex was designed to ensure continuity of government operations in the event of a nuclear attack or other catastrophic events.
