30/04/2003 Position of pillbox is now an open area serving as a layby from the road. The course of the adjacent anti-tank ditch is indicated by a gap in the hedgerow on the east side of the road. 12/01/1954 Rectangular pillbox plotted from air photograph. It lies in a gap of the anti-tank ditch between a stream and the road.

20/12/1941 Concrete pillbox on the outer perimeter of the Kirkleatham defences. Firing SE. Serial ref. C. Cassini ref. 079415. Manned by 1 NCO and 5 ORs. Pillbox, no specification. Part of the outer defences of Kirkleatham Hall. 1972 Rectangular pillbox structure plotted from OS 1: 2500 sheet.
