Coast artillery battery built 1940 by 324 Bt RA. Inspected late 1940 and found to be in good condition - clean and tidy. Closed in 1944. Housed two 6in ex-naval guns from HMS Africa. Cromer Coast artillery battery. Most of the site has been removed. Large building covered in creepers in the garden of the bungalow in The Warren - possibly the generator house for coast artillery search lights.
