A roll of barbed wire, approx. 5ft in diameter, and fixed to a wooden structure on the side of the road. The coil of barbed wire would be unwound to stretch across Feckenham Road to form a block. This appears to have been the Wallace Bag-net type roadblock described in local Home Guard files. (Information from local resident and from Home Guard files).
