A military bunker located near Līgatne, Latvia. The Līgatne Bunker was constructed 9 meters beneath the ground during the Soviet era as a secret shelter for Latvia's Communist elite in case of a hypothetical nuclear war. The bunker remained highly classified for 30 years, with even employees and clients of the adjacent rehabilitation center unaware of its existence.
Today, the bunker serves as a museum displaying authentic exhibits from the Soviet period, offering visitors insight into the Cold War era and the atmosphere of the Soviet Union.
