1997 Anti-tank wall defending beach at Walmer. 07/08/1997 Concrete anti-tank wall built against original garden wall which is still behind the military wall. Wall starts on S side of footpath on S side of Walmer Castle, and runs S to garden gate to house (Waterfront) and Hawkshill Road.
Just to the S of this are girders set in the ground to form an anti-tank barrier. 1995 Garden wall strengthened as anti-tank obstacle. WW2 anti-tank wall on Kingsdown Rd. A garden wall heavily beefed up. Made of concrete and in good condition.
