Description

17/09/2001 This was a one-man covered dugout beneath a yew tree with telephone connection back to the operational base 300 yards to the S. The OP was constructed by John Patrol members in order to observe anticipated German troop train movements over a viaduct to the NE. The dugout has been filled in but the yew tree remains. (Oral evidence from a surviving member of the patrol).
