27/08/1999 Site of fougasse. Holes in the roadside bank still show the position of 5 approx. 40-50 gallon steel drums that were filled with petrol, phosphorus, and tar. (Information on the site given to the recorder by a veteran of the East Surrey Regt. which installed the fougasse - Mr. Lesley Collins).
