1999 A 6 sided brick pillbox with concrete roof, built near the centre of the open space here to cover the N approaches to the Admiralty Signals Station. The base of the pillbox was used post war as a bandstand. This was removed recently (pre 1999). (Information from a map produced by a local resident during 1940 and shown to the recorder).
