28/02/2000 Home Guard HQ. The former private school was used by the Pioneer Platoon of the 7th Worcestershire (Malvern) Battalion Home Guard as their HQ. The Platoon Commander was Lt. A. F. Evans and their meetings were held in the basement of St. Cuthberts. Training lectures were held here and a . 22 rifle range was available. The site has now been redeveloped.
