12/11/1998 6 anti-tank road blocks still exist at this site today. They are rectangular in shape with one side slightly sloped. Each block measures about 2. 5ft in each direction. The tactical reason for this road block is uncertain, although the minor road is situated between the two important wireless cable stations at Porthcurno and Sennen Cove which were in use during WW2.
