1997 To form part of the outer defences of Worcester as an anti-tank island, it was proposed to flood the valley of the Langhorn Brook between its confluence with the River Teme at Powick to Henwick Mill, where the obstacle would link with an anti-tank ditch just N of Martley Road. The flooding was to be achieved by damming, presumably at intervals to achieve a constant depth.
