1998 Home Guard would have had a Molotov cocktail store in this vicinity and a small lock up building is remembered as being sited here, which would have been consistent with that use. The base of a small structure was unearthed here during recent archaeological investigations of the bridge surface. (See as well UORN 16255 at this Location).
