02/1998 Vertical rail roadblock. 07/11/1941 Four concrete blocks at the S end of the bridge, two each side of the road - plotted from aerial photograph. Probably vertical rails would have been set in the carriageway surface between these to create the roadblock. The blocks had been removed by 1946.
