Anti Tank Vertical Rail

07/11/1941 Roadblock probably of lengths of vertical rails and hairpins, set between two square structures, probably large concrete blocks on either side of the road at the N approach to the main bridge. The blocks are plotted from aerial photograph. They were removed by 1946. South of the roadblock at the N end of the bridge itself individual smaller blocks are lined on either side of the carriageway.
