21/01/2000 Railblock. Materials were stored here in 1940 in readiness for creating a block on the railway and to prevent infiltration of the Worcester City defences (and the crossing of the River Teme stop line) from the W, using the railway. Information from an Home Guard map, dated December 1940, held by the Worcester and Sherwood Foresters Regimental Office at Norton Barracks.
